She is recognized as the third most valued Spanish artist. Her works have been exhibited in numerous museums worldwide, including, among many other institutions: Seoul Arts Center, Korea; Contemporary Art Museum, Sicily, Italy; CSMVS and Mumbai, India. Additionally, her work is included in the permanent collections of several corporations and museums, such as Museo Goya IberCaja, Zaragoza, Spain; Museo de Arte Contemporánea, Sicily, Italy; The Fendi Collection, Italy; Museu Europeu d’Art Modern, Vila Casas Foundation, Spain; Théâtre Mogador Paris, France; Copelouzos Group, Athens, Greece; The Joop & Janine van de Ende Foundation and The Paul van Rensch Foundation, The Netherlands.

From birth until age thirteen, Lita Cabellut was an orphan, left on the streets of Barcelona to fend for herself. The gypsy child was adopted by a Catalanean family who frequently traveled to Madrid and visited important museums such as the Prado Museum. The trips to various European museums inspired Cabellut to pursue a career as an artist, becoming greatly influenced by masters like Francisco Goya and Diego Velázquez.

At 19, she decided to move to her current country of residence, The Netherlands, where she attended the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, further studying Dutch masters. Her experiences have culminated in a successful career with art that mirrors her life experiences. Cabellut’s spectacular works on canvas questions all qualifying concepts of beauty and search to redefine it with a greater sense of humanity and objectivity.
